It's just like people who build hotrod cars. computer geeks even call these computers hotrods. You can say you have a faster comp than anything that can be bought on the market. There is no practical application. It's just a hobby.

Mostly for performance because when geeks come over and they see a lighning fast computer they die
also that way you feel more secure. Having a computer with 1tb makes it so you can download whatever you want 3gb ram fast
Getting more of what we pay for! Each electronic product
has a standard that should work stable in it. But if
the producer use better materials that can still hold
stability on more clocks or voltages, then it would be a
good idea getting more from what you have!
By the way, in some cases (specially audio rendering,
games and video edition and rendering) you need to have
a better system to Run your programs faster. In such
Case you can see more dazzling graphics, and less time
for rendering without spending any money!
But totally we know that we should upgrade our system
every 6 month or a year to have the best tools(system!)
for our businesses!
