In the future, will people start to loose their jobs because of computers and robots?

Technology is getting better and better and a really fast rate, new things come up every day, more powerful and faster computers are available extremely often, and in the near future, robots will be a common thing. They already work instead of humans in many places, for example, in car manufacturers.

Is it possible that many jobs which people do today will be done by robots in the future? And if so, should we (mainly teenagers) start thinking about jobs which will be better if a human does it, and not a machine so that we do not study a lot for a certain job only to have a computer take it over?

who will fix and create and operate these computers and robots? can a robot give medical care, such as baths or medicene intake? i dont htink the world will ever be able to be run by computers, there have to be people to do something. at this point different kinds of jobs will open up. i cant imagine a job that a robot would be better at than a human because almost all humans crave human contact, and by having a person serve your food, give you medical care, etc. is good customer service. would you go somewhere where a robot is to give you a shot? i would trust the person more believe it or not...
