How do i change the regional code on my computers dvd player ?

i went out of the country and changed my computers dvd player regional code for the first time meaning i should have 3 more times that i can change it but now when i put a dvd in the player back here in the states the prompt doesnt come up telling me how to change it i have windows media player anyone know how to fix it?

NOTE: Do not just play around with this feature. You can change it only four times.

1. Right click on My Computer.

2. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.

3. Click the Hardware Tab.

4. Click the Device Manager Button.

5. Expand the DVD/CD ROM Device branch.

6. Right-click your DVD device and select Properties

7. Select the DVD Region tab.

8. Click OK.

To change the DVD region, follow these steps:

1. Open My Computer.

2. Right-click on the DVD drive icon and select Properties.

3. Click on ''Hardware'' tab.

4. Under ''Hardware'' tab, from the list of Disk Drives, select the DVD drive entry.

5. Click ''Properties'' button.

6. Now, click the ''DVD Region'' tab.

7. Here, you can select the Region.

8. Click OK after you have selected the Region.

9.. Click Apply and OK.

This will change the DVD region for the drive.
