I got a 28kb per/s speed adsl Internet Connection. It is shared between 2 computers. Everytime one of the two computewrs downloads a file, most of the speed goes to one computer, making the other computers internet go really slow. Is there anyway to split the speed so we both alwatys get 14kb/s instead of the download file, take all speed. It is annoying playing Runesacape on 1kb/s. Thanks in advance.

How is the network sharing being performed? If you are using one computer as a gateway to the other, you may not be able to avoid the problem. You should also probably double check your speed advise, your DSL can not actually run at half as slow as dial up, why would you bother?

Sorry I gave wrong infomation, I made another question wqith the real speed, sorry. It was 256/128. Oh this is another acount.
you can go to www.arcai.com and download a programme called netcut it will cut the net from the other computer
yes in the router configuation
You need to get cable.
just make sure nobody downloads anything well your on. Other then that i suggest you upgrade your internet because no matter what with that type of speed it's bound to be slow.
