Go to crucial.com and input your machine manufacturer and model number. They will tell you what is possible for your machine.

umm more ram...
well you buy more RAM memory sticks.

before you go to the store, find out what type of RAM your computer uses. look on the computer's manufactuer website to find your computer model and they may tell you what type of RAM it uses. The sure way is just to open up your computer's case and pop out the RAM stick in there and it will tell you if it's 133mhz ram or whatever. you also should figure out how much RAM your computer can take. it may not be able to hold 2mb RAM
Well, um, you'll need to buy some additional RAM. More seriously, the trick here is to got the right kind of RAM, so that it is compatible with your computer. The machine's documentation should tell you about that -- try the manufacturer's Web site if you can't find the manual. Alternatively, there is a good ''Memory Advisor'' tool at Crucial:

that will help you find the right type and show you what expansion options you have. Crucial is a division of Micron Electronics, and they sell expansion memory. I have bought from them several times, and have always been satisfied with their products and service. (I have no connection with them except as a customer.)
You'd probably want to buy a 2gb kit here's a link that will even scan your computer to help you choose what's best for your system. http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.asp...
