My school has the camera blocked on the mac computers. So we can't use applications like photobooth and ichat.

NO - they have it blocked for safety and security reasons so unless you want to lose the privilege of using their computers do NOT try to get around the blocks. They take their security very seriously and you will get caught because they probably also have a hidden tracking program logging everything you do.
