I work for a non-profit organization and i am looking to find a company that will donate some computers to help homeless and parolees find jobs and help them put a resume together.

Check with the companies themselves. Try some government grants if your in the U.S.

See if your local newspaper will do an ad free of charge to help your organization. they just might be interested.



Also, call your local Chamber of Commerce and ask if they know of any company in your area that might have some computers they would like to donate.



Looking at the limited description of what your org is doing, I would put a call into the local Justice Dept. and tell them you're a non-profit in need.
I work at a non profit also. We've had computers donated from schools, large businesses and corporations, private donors, churches, and even several of our military bases have donated old computers to us.



If you know what you're looking for, you can put out a direct request to local businesses asking for direct donations. If you have a newsletter that goes out, you can make a wishlist and add those computers to the wishlist, then send it to your regular large donors. That's how we've gotten a lot of things donated. We've even in turned, donated the computers that were donated to us, to other schools and churches if we couldn't use them.
