I need to reinstall win xp on 3 different computers....?

all of them are connected via a server but am afraid of losing some of my data. theres already one of the computers which i dont need to reinstall again. my question is, do i just transfer all of the files into the com which i dont need to reinstall or do i need to do something else (backup all of my data to dvd's, cds etc. etc.)

Save all your data to the server. Then you won't lose anything. Do not use the same copy of XP for all of them, this will kill your activation key.

Why do you need to reinstall at all? You trashed the OS on three computers?

There's no reason you couldn't back up your data on the stable computer over the network.

Given your apparent talent for bringing down so many machines at once, it may be wise to get a NAS device. Then, you can create disk images of your computers for backup every week or so. That way, you could clone it back to the way it was a week ago rather than starting from scratch.
