I have one of the computers plugged into the lan port in the back of the router

The router itself will create the wireless network part for you assuming that the computers you want to be wireless have a ''wireless access point'' or ''wireless access card'' (which is the hardware that makes that computer talk to the router wirelessly.

Just by plugging your computer into the router that makes that computer on the network.

If you are looking to share internet with all computer on the network:

Cable from wall goes into cable modem that goes into the Uplink or Internet port on the router. If this is the first time you are setting all this up, power every thing off then power on cable modem wait 1-2 minutes then plug its cable into router port and turn on router and wait 1-2 minutes. Then turn on computers and all should work fine.

If you haven't bought the router yet, get a Linksys Wireless Router (Walmart is the cheapest) and makes sure the access port or wireless cards are all able work with it. There are ''B'' and ''G'' etc (says it on box) and they need to the same type to work.
